In the beautiful setting of Wilton House My Man Mickie competed in the Novice section. Pleased with his dressage test today he is improving all the time and got a respectable score of 34. He felt so good show jumping just kept in a lovely rhythm and took it all on and jumped another clear round.
Cross country was great, we decided to push him on a little bit more this time and aim to get around in the time – which we did but this time a little too quickly resulting in a 0.4 too fast time penalty! We just had a little bit of a ‘moment’ as we approached the palisade on top of the hill down 2 big steps to a skinny – we took the red flag with us and I had to ride with determination for the skinny! Awesome horse he did all that was asked of him. Placed 10th in his class.
